We could not confirm what EVA AI's free tier currently caps. Make that the first thing you answer in the app. How far do free messages go, and does anything media-related work before you pay?
GoLove.ai: two episodes, two Stars, a capped Feed
- Series: episodes 1–2 of every series play without an account. From episode 3, a free account needs PRO. PRO members then unlock each further episode with a few Stars.
- Stars: 2 free reward Stars a day.
- Feed: a limited number of new clips each day. After that, an "Unlock Unlimited Feed" paywall appears.

Both offer limited free access. Nomi doesn't ask for a card, which I like, but we couldn't confirm its current message or media quotas.

Two free episodes of 'My AI Girlfriend'
Open Series from the main menu and start My AI Girlfriend, a 7-episode series starring Lexie (@iamlexiebabe). A black box lands on Milo's doormat, addressed to the girl next door, and he keeps it. Inside are glasses that bring his perfect girl to life, but the account isn't his. As a hook for a 60-second format, that's surprisingly sharp. Each episode runs 60–100 seconds in vertical 9:16, with subtitles in nine languages, and the first two need no account.

Asking Lexie for a photo
In chat, tap the media button, then Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words. A photo of the same Lexie arrives in about 20–45 seconds for 1 Star, with her face and body consistent with her avatar. Nomi lists generated selfies too, so photos alone aren't the difference. The difference is that you've already watched this girl in a story before you ask.
Two episodes in, you already know Lexie and the setup. Her chat is one tap from the cast list, so go now, while that cliffhanger is still on your mind.
In-chat photos and photo-to-video
Photos you request keep the character's face and body consistent with her avatar and earlier photos. That's the exact point where she stops being a random image generator and reads as one person, the girl from the episode, still recognisably her a few photos later. Under any photo, a one-tap "Generate Video" turns the same scene into a ~5-second clip in about a minute, for 10 Stars.
The video generator and Video Edit
- Presets: you build a clip from cards (an action such as "Hard Doggy Style", then clothes, then a background) and tap Generate once. There are 76 realistic modes and 147 in total.
- Output: 480p, 720p or 1080p. Video Edit transforms a clip you already have.
- Remix: on any Feed clip, Remix opens the generator with that clip's character, action, outfit and scene already set.

Memory: what each app remembers
Here's the row GoLove loses. It lists Memory as a core feature, and ULTRA adds an 8,000-message smart memory, but on paper Nomi has the more layered spec. Short-, medium- and long-term memory on a cheaper plan makes Nomi the one to beat here. As for EVA AI, we could not confirm how deep its memory goes. If memory is your main reason for buying, test it in the app before you subscribe.
What We Couldn't Verify at EVA AI
